Nomura reiterates its “buy” rating on Sage after the group reported half year figures, showing top line dynamics across all geographies improving. Nomura has increased its earnings per share by roughly five per cent, which, it says reflects the slightly better revenue dynamics seen in the first half, currency effect and savings.
ANHEUSER-BUSCH INBEV
Evolution Securities maintains its “buy” recommendation of Anheuser-Busch InBev after the brewing giant’s volume, sales and, earnings before interest and taxes beat Numis’ forecasts. Chief executive Carlos Brito is cautious about the second quarter, but more upbeat about the second half of the year, it notes.

Execution Noble rates Punch Taverns “sell” following the announcement that Ian Dyson will be joining the group from M&S. Execution Noble saysit was somewhat surprised by the choice and expected a candidate from a more operational background. However, it concedes that Dyson comes with experience.
