Arm’s former chairman is back, and this time at a startup
The former chairman of ARM, who led its sale to SoftBank for billions of pounds in one of the biggest deals of the year, has joined a startup.
Stuart Chambers will join London-based adtech startup Ve Interactive as non-executive chairman just weeks after the Arm-SoftBank deal closed.
"I have rarely come across a company which is as rich in entrepreneurial spirit and innovation as Ve and which has managed to combine these so effectively to achieve such broad international and commercial reach," said Chambers.

"Ve has already made great progress in establishing itself as a market leader and I am very much looking forward to helping it deliver the next stage of its ambition.”
Ve's chief executive David Brown said Chambers' appointment was a stamp of approval for the business and his experience in Asia would be an asset to the business.
Chambers boasts years of experience at the top, including time as chief executive of Rexam and Nippon Sheet Glass Group, and non-executive director of Tesco.
