Anthony Joshua sets a date for next fight: Heavyweight’s title defence comes two weeks ahead of Fury v Klitschko
Newly-crowned world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua will defend his title on Saturday 25 June at the O2.
Joshua will return to the site of his victory over Charles Martin earlier this month which won him the IBF heavyweight belt for a meeting with an opponent to be announced next week.
Names touted for the fight include former heavyweight champion Bermane Stiverne, Eric Molina, Malik Scott and Dominic Breazeale.

It falls a fortnight before the rematch between Tyson Fury and Wladimir Klitschko, the winner of which would likely be touted for a super-fight with Joshua providing the Olympic champion successfully defends his belt.
"“If there is a date to get in your diary its June 25th – first title defence, The O2,” said Joshua.
“Opponent to be announced but I just spoke to coach and I told him I am feeling great and I can’t wait to get back in to camp. I want to be active so that is why I chose the closest date. I appreciate you guys and I can’t wait to see you again and put on a great performance.”
