Infineon raises full-year outlook
German chipmaker Infineon raised its full-year outlook for the second time in three months yesterday after crashing past profit forecasts. Infineon, whose chips can be found in mobile handsets including Nokia and Apple, now expects revenue for the year to rise by at least 45 per cent, with an operating margin in the low teens.
