Jonathan May has been appointed head of institutional business development, UK at the investment management group. He joins from Aviva Investors, where he was been head of global consultant relations. May has 20 years’ experience in the industry, and has also held senior positions at Fidelity International.
Marex Spectron
The commodities-focused financial products broker has appointed John Wall as group chief executive. Wall has long experience in financial services, and was most recently global co-head of investment banking at UBS.
City Financial
The investment management firm has appointed Ed Rosengarten to the new role of head of UK asset management. He joins with four colleagues from Eden Financial. Rosengarten has also held senior roles at M&G, latterly as chief executive of equities.
BDO
Gareth Davies has been appointed as a director in the business advisory firm’s mergers and acquisitions team. He joins from PwC Corporate Finance. Davies focuses on the technology, media and telecommunications sectors, and has also held roles at Morgan Stanley.
BNP Paribas Real Estate
Nick Rock has been appointed head of BNP Paribas’s real estate investment division’s West End office leasing team. He joins from Brewster Leech, and has more than 20 years’ experience in West End real estate.
Clarion Partners
The US-based real estate investment management firm has opened a London office and appointed Jeroen Verheijden as senior vice president to lead its client business in the UK, Eurozone and Middle East. Verheijden has considerable experience in UK real estate, and has also held roles at a Dutch pension fund.
