Evolution Group
The investment banking group has appointed Philip Howell as a director of the group, effective immediately.

Howell was appointed chief executive of Evolution’s investment management subsidiary, Williams de Broë, in February this year. He joined from Fortis Private Banking, where he had been regional chief executive since 2005 and was also a member of the management board. Prior to that, he spent 24 years at Barclays.

Conduit Capital Markets
The derivatives and securities dealer has appointed Anke Richter as executive director of investment grade credit strategy, Julie Pertuiset as an executive director in the debt capital markets team and So-Hee Lee and John Shue to its fixed income sales team as a vice president and executive director respectively.

Richter was formerly head of capital markets research and corporate credit at French bank Credit Agricole. Pertuiset and Shue also join from Credit Agricole, while Lee was at Fieldstone Stone Capital.

The institutional broker and corporate adviser has established a new oil and gas team across research, corporate finance and sales.

As part of the development, oil and gas analyst William Arnstein has joined the company, having previously worked at Jefferies and Dresdner Kleinwort.

Man Group
The alternative asset manager has hired Tim Fitch as a senior relationship manager in its UK institutional sales team.

Fitch joins from Axa Investment Managers, where he was director of single strategy hedge fund sales. He has also previously been senior European marketer at KBC Alternative Investment Management and marketing director at GMP Asset Management, a European event-driven single manager.

M&G
The investment manager has appointed Stephanie Ramos as deputy head of corporate communications.

Ramos joins from Threadneedle, where she was head of PR for the UK, Europe, Asia and the US.
