James Beckham has been hired to lead the property adviser’s London capital markets practice. He joins from JLL, where he was an international director in its City investment business. Beckham built King Sturge’s City of London capital markets business in the late 1990s.

Martin Sutherland has been appointed chief executive at the commercial banknote printer. He joins from BAE Systems Applied Intelligence, where he has been managing director since its acquisition by BAE Systems in 2008. Sutherland has also held roles at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and British Telecom.
The management consultancy has announced the appointment of Mark Page as UK & Ireland managing partner. A global board member and partner of the firm, he is currently global leader in its communications, media and technology practice. Page was a founding member of the board of directors that oversaw AT Kearney’s return to private ownership.
The commercial real estate services firm has announced the appointment of Jonathan Mills as head of its investment business in the North West. He joins from JLL, where he was most recently a senior director in its West End investment team.
Nick Cooper has been appointed director and deputy chairman of the real estate investment and asset management firm. He joins from US-based Townsend Group, a provider of investment management solutions. Cooper has also held senior roles at ING Real Estate, and was chief executive of ING Real Estate Select.
Norton Rose Fulbright
The law firm has announced the appointment of Maxim Kleine as an antitrust and competition partner, effective 1 October. He joins from Oppenhoff & Partner, where he was head of antitrust. Kleine’s practice centres around behavioural and contentious work, with a focus on cartel work, abuse of dominance, market investigations, and antitrust damages litigation.
