Who will Hollande fly to the White House with?

Francois Hollande is, in his own words, going through a “difficult time.” There are accusations of an affair with French actress Julie Gayet and his partner Valerie Trierweiler has been in hospital, reportedly with “emotional shock.”

 

 

 

 

Well, if you’ve got an opinion on what the outcome of this debacle might be, Ladbrokes is running some odds on who will travel to the White House with Hollande when he visits next month. 

 

Francois Hollande is odds-on to travel alone on his scheduled visit to the Obamas at 1/3. If you think the Trierweiler will be by his side you’ll get odds of 2/1. Those who think Julie Gayet might be winging across the Atlantic with Hollande can take odds of 20/1. Hollande’s former partner Segolene Royal is in the running at 66/1 but sashaying in as a rank outsider is former First Lady Carla Bruni. We can’t see that going down too well….
