Lululemon to open first UK store
Canadian clothing heavyweight Lululemon is to open its first UK store in London's Covent Garden on 28 March.
That 3,100 square foot store will have separate menswear and womenswear sections.
Community relations manager Amanda Casger told Drapers that Lululemon is "in the process of understanding what the [UK] market is like" and that the company does "plan to open more stores throughout the UK".
The company was hit with a US lawsuit in July 2013, accused of defrauding shareholders by hiding defects in batches of yoga pants whose sheerness led to a recall.
CEO Laurent Potdevin was named in December, after Christine Day announced in June that she would step down once a replacement had been found.
