COLD AS ICE
Continuing on its aggressive drive for diverse cultural supremacy, Canary Wharf has decided to treat its army of suits to yet another arty extravaganza for the New Year – in the form of the annual London Ice Sculpting Festival will take place on 15 and 16 January next to the ice rink in Canada Square Park.
Over the two days, financial workers will be able to watch five teams of international sculptors chipping away at 2m x 2m square blocks of ice to create stunning pieces of art, while those game for a laugh can try their own hand at the skill at one of the free supervised master classes.
Definitely one not to be missed.
