The hot topic of house prices keeps the nation preoccupied perhaps more than any other country - but some areas of Britain are more concerned than others.
Residents of Reading are the nosiest when it comes to finding out how much their neighbours' homes are worth, searching twice as much as those in other areas according to property website Zoopla.
Those close by in Milton Keynes and Cambridge also searched for property price estimates more than other areas across the country the research found.
The results of the analysis, which looked at the amount of times people searched and who identified themselves as neighbours in 50 of the UK's biggest urban areas, also identified a divide between the north and south of the country.
Those living in Dundee, Middlesbrough and Hull were found to be the least interested in house prices.
