Londoners are facing delays on a number of forms of transport this morning, as the Southern rail strikes continue.

Trains between London St Pancras and Blackfriars are delayed due to a broken down train.

And a signalling problem between Tottenham Hale and Hackney Downs is causing disruption to trains between Cheshunt and London Liverpool Street, with delays of up to 30 minutes expected between Tottenham Hale and Liverpool Street.

The disruption is now expected to continue until midday.

Meanwhile, an earlier power cut at Highbury & Islington station has been fixed, meaning Great Northern services are now able to call there, after earlier disruptions.

And the Southern rail strike is continuing, with RMT union members now on their second day of industrial action.

Talks are planned for today, after Southern boss Charles Horton offered to meet with the union to try and end the deadlock.

However, commuters are still facing longer journeys into work as the operator runs a reduced service due to the strike.
