Google Calendar has been restored, after the City was thrown into paroxysms of terror this afternoon, when the service went down.
Those trying to find out what they were doing today were left stumped, as instead of the usual calendar page, a page titled "server error" loaded, along with a message explaining in several dozen languages that Calendar was temporarily unavailable.
Google's Apps Status Dashboard suggested the site had been experiencing disruptions since 2.47pm UK time - although Google Calendar's Twitter account has yet to offer an explanation for the outage.
Still, people took the opportunity of missed meetings to vocalise their terror on Twitter.
