Paint brand Dulux embraces the technology world with new app

PAINT brand Dulux is the latest company to ride the digital wave, as it launches an improved version of its app next month that lets consumers see how any colour would look in their very own living space.

Ruud Joosten, executive committee member responsible for decorative paints at parent company AkzoNobel, told City A.M. that he expects the finessed product to boost the company’s sales.

“Technology is by far the dominant trend today for industry. This app enables consumers to use our products in a better way and they can share pictures with their friends on social media, which is another important digital trend,” he said.

The Visualiser app is available worldwide and has been downloaded four million times so far, with 350,000 users in the UK market.
