Tiny south London flat: Sold for just under £100,000 today (Source: Rightmove)
Here at City A.M. we're big fans of tiny houses.
There was the super-skinny north London house which went to auction for £235,000 even though it measured in at just 83 inches wide.
Then we learned of a 12ft-wide house being built in south London – which was put up for sale for an eye-watering £490,000.
And that's not forgetting the £737-a-month Islington flat that was just big enough to squeeze a bed next to the kitchen sink.
Today, another bijou residence has made its way to our attention. This flat in Streatham, south London, weighs in at 206 square feet (19 square metres) – and had a price tag that brought it in at less than £100,000.
The flat was originally on the market for around a third more than that. So perhaps it's no surprise it's already been taken off the market.
A rare investment opportunity or another sign of the overheated London market? We'll let you decide...
