France end revolt over Anelka
THE French squad returned to training yesterday to end their boycott over the expulsion of Nicolas Anelka.
The squad opted to not take part in training on Sunday after the Chelsea striker was sent home for a row with coach Raymond Domenech and then refused to apologise.
President Nicolas Sarkozy stepped in to intervene and defuse the situation and the squad reported for training as scheduled at their Field of Dreams complex in Knysna.
