Victoria Line services delayed after person hit by train at Seven Sisters
Services on the Victoria Line are subject to severe delays this afternoon after a person was killed after being hit by a train at Seven Sisters Tube station earlier today.
British Transport Police (BTP) were alerted to reports that a person had been hit by a train at the North London station at around 11.15am.
"Officers attended alongside London Ambulance Service paramedics and treated a woman for injuries. However, despite their best efforts, the woman was sadly pronounced dead at the scene," the BTP added.
"Officers are now working to identify the person and inform their family. This incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
There are severe delays along the entire Victoria Line, with no service between Finsbury Park and Walthamstow, and Seven Sisters station is closed.
