Tube delays on Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines continue for second day
Commuters faced a second day of delays on the Tube as the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines suffered severe delays caused by a signal failure at Edgware Road.
Another signalling fault at Gunnersbury also caused delays on the Overground and District line.
The latest from Transport for London (TfL) advised:
Circle line: Severe delays due to an earlier signal failure at Edgware Road.
District line: Severe delays between Turnham Green and Richmond and minor delays between Wimbledon and Edgware Road due to signal failure at Gunnersbury and Edgware Road.
Hammersmith & City: Severe delays due to the Edgware Road signal failure.
Metropolitan: Minor delays between Aldgate and Baker Street due to the Edgware Road fault.
Commuters were yesterday faced with delays to their rush hour journeys on the Tube and National Rail.
Seven separate signal failures affected Southeastern trains heading into London Bridge on Monday morning, while points problems caused Circle, District and Hammersmith & City line suspensions.
