Time Warner considers IPC sale
US entertainment giant Time Warner has denied that it is considering a sale of IPC media, the publishing house behind NME, Marie Claire and Nuts magazine. The company carried out a strategic review of the magazine publishing unit. Time Warner acquired IPC Media from Cinven in 2001 for £1.15bn. A Time Warner spokesman said: “Of course we conduct regular reviews of all of our businesses to ensure we remain competitive, but there is no plan for any further action at IPC.”
