the INSIDER
It’s only three weeks until the 2010 Football World Cup and if you are quick and use oddschecker.com you might just be able to get a few pounds on England to win at 7/1. Or is that the right thing to do even if you fancy them to win? I’m quite confident that the Three Lions can get the monkey off their backs in South Africa. But, even if they succeed, I’m sure a longer price will be available during or after their first round match against the USA.
The Americans have experience of South African tournaments, coming runners-up to Brazil in the 2009 Confederations Cup. Leading 2-0 at half time they had the Brazilians on the ropes. England will struggle to impress against USA and odds may unfairly reflect their toils, but this can be to our benefit. Back
ENGLAND in-running for the tournament.
As with many trainers, Ed Vaughan’s horses have been a bit hit and miss so far this season but tomorrow he runs DANCE AND DANCE (3%) in the 3.25pm at Chester and I’m expecting a bullseye. Lingfield is one of my favourite courses and there is a CAPITAL ATTRACTION (3%) for going on Saturday night. Henry Cecil is the man in form and this colt goes to post at 8pm.
