Symonds flops on Lions debut
CRICKET: Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds lasted just two balls for one run on his Twenty20 debut as Surrey were thrashed by ten wickets by Gloucestershire at The Oval.
The Lions were skittled out for just 97 – easy meat for the visitors who cruised to victory in just 9.5 overs with William Porterfield (48no) and James Franklin (41no) seeing them home.
