Sturridge makes it three from three as Trotters kick on
BOLTON WANDERERS (2) vs EVERTON (0)
BOLTON boss Owen Coyle insists he is happy for his club to act as a finishing school for youngsters at bigger clubs after on-loan Daniel Sturridge struck again.
Sturridge smashed a fine volley to take his tally to three goals in three games since joining on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.
And Coyle said: “I am not surprised. These young players are just craving a platform to go and play.
“There are some terrific young talented players out there, most of them will be at the elite clubs. But there is no shame in not being in the Arsenal or Chelsea team. If I feel there are players who can benefit Bolton I will do everything in my power to bring them here.”
Centre-back Gary Cahill headed Bolton in front via a deflection, and after the break Sturridge wrapped up a win to keep the Trotters eighth in the Premier League.
