Spread betting on goals
SPORTING Index offer a wide variety of spread betting markets on goals, covering everything from total goals in a match to when the last goal in a game will be scored.
Just one of the last four games between Manchester United and Chelsea has seen over 1.5 goals, but Sporting Index are trading total goals for Sunday’s clash at 2.7-2.9. The premise of this market is simple – if you fancy less than three goals you would sell at 2.7, and if you expected at least three goals you would buy at 2.9.
Chelsea have scored before the 35th minute in their last six matches. If you envisage a repeat you can sell the time of their first goal at 48. A Chelsea goal in the 10th minute would mean a profit for sellers of 38 times their stake. However, if they failed to score in the match this market would make up 90 and a loss of 42 times stakes.
Man United have failed to find the net in three of the last four against the Blues. You can buy the time of their first goal at 54.
You can also bet on what time the winning goal will be scored at, when a team will score their second, third, fourth or fifth goal in a match, and on the aggregate minutes of each goal scored by headers and penalties.
Losses can exceed your initial deposit. Prices subject to fluctuation.
