Should homes at risk of floods be given insurance subsidies?

It is very difficult to find insurance when you are continually flooded out. It is up to the government and locals councils to ensure that areas at risk are protected and some subsidy should be provided if they are not.

I don’t think there should be a subsidy. The problem we have in this country is there are too many subsidies… My main concern about insurance is it should be available, so the issue of price is slightly different.

I think there should be some sort of subsidy… if bad systems of sewage and things like that and things are flooding then that’s not the fault of people that live there.
