Moyes mulls over new bid
MANCHESTER UNITED are weighing up whether to make a second approach for Everton’s Leighton Baines and Maroune Fellaini, after the Toffees rejected their initial combined £28m bid, labelling it “derisory” and “insulting”.
United made their move for the duo before the weekend’s opening round of Premier League fixtures, however, Everton immediately rejected the offer.
“Everton can confirm that it has received bids from Manchester United for two players,” a club statement read. “Those bids were immediately rejected out of hand as derisory and insulting.”
