McColl’s sees results in line
NEWSAGENT and convenience store chain McColl’s yesterday cited “tough conditions” in its business outlook, but said it expected its 2014 results to be “broadly” in line with expectations.
The company said that total sales, including VAT but excluding fuel, lottery and mobile phone top-ups, grew by five per cent in the fourth quarter ended 30 November, and 4.2 per cent in the year-to-date, boosted by new store acquisitions.
