Leeds thrashed by young Wasps
Wasps ran in seven tries to thrash Premiership relegation favourites Leeds Carnegie 51-18 and claim only their second win in 10 matches. Joe Simpson and Richard Haughton grabbed two tries apiece, with Joe Ward, Billy Vunipola and Zak Taulafo scoring the others, as the emerging Elliott Daly and Sam Jones shone for a youthful Wasps side. Adams Park interim director of rugby Leon Holden said: “This is the start of the revolution. Hopefully we’ll look back on this in 10 years and say that.”
