Lambert gets England call
ENGLAND manager Roy Hodgson has given shock call-ups to Rickie Lambert and Wayne Rooney in his squad to face Scotland for Wednesday’s friendly at Wembley.
Lambert, 31, is included in the international set-up for the first time while Rooney figures despite missing United’s pre-season with hamstring and shoulder injuries.
