Job confidence rises in the City
Job confidence among City professionals is returning slowly but steadily, a survey from recruiter GRS has shown.
The firm found that the number of people who felt they would be more secure in their jobs within the next three months rose two per cent through July and August, up to 45 per cent of those polled.
This was on top of a further two per cent rise in May and June.
“There’s been a lot of talk about ‘green shoots’, but the confidence monitor shows us that City workers feel the worst is behind us,” said GRS chief executive Ken Brotherston.
