Hangeland targeting six points to save Fulham from relegation
FULHAM defender Brede Hangeland has admitted that the west Londoners need to win their remaining two Premier League fixtures if they are to avoid relegation.
The Cottagers travel to Stoke this weekend before hosting Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage on the final day of the season. Saturday’s heartbreaking draw at home to Hull, which saw Shane Long grab an equaliser with just three minutes of normal time to go, means Fulham lie second from bottom.
“I think we need to win the last two, that is clear for everyone to see. Is that impossible? No, it is far from impossible. Of course we can do it,” the Norwegian said.
“It is all about doing the business this week and then the week after and hoping that will be enough. It is a massive game this week.”
