Hammers set to face Rooney
WEST Ham have been warned they will face stars Wayne Rooney and Nani in a strong Manchester United line-up in tonight’s FA Cup third round replay at Old Trafford.
England striker Rooney has not played since injuring his knee over Christmas, while winger Nani is also set to return following a 15-match absence.
Defender Nemanja Vidic has recovered from a blow to the head, but forward Ashley Young has a knee problem and could also miss Sunday’s trip to Tottenham.
The Hammers are set to welcome back midfielder Mohamed Diame, but Sam Allardyce has only three fit defenders to choose from, with George McCartney and Joey O’Brien injured. On-loan striker Marouane Chamakh is ineligible.
