Guardiola: Barca guilt free
BARCELONA manager Pep Guardiola insists Real Madrid have no grounds to complain about the conduct of his side ahead of tonight’s Champions League semi-final second leg.
Madrid reported Barca for unsporting conduct during last week’s 2-0 first leg defeat at the Bernabeu and accused Sergio Busquets of racially abusing their full-back, Marcelo.
Those claims have been dismissed by Uefa and Guardiola believes Madrid should learn from the episode.
“They can present all the complaints they like, but Uefa are the ones who decide,” he said. “They think we are unsporting, but I think the opposite. We teach our players manners from a young age.”
Barcelona have included France defender Eric Abidal in their squad less than two months after he underwent an operation to remove a tumour from his liver.
