German prices start increasing
INFLATION has rebounded in Germany – the Eurozone’s biggest economy – new figures show.
Annual inflation was 0.1 per cent in March, according to official estimates published yesterday, up from minus 0.1 per cent in February and minus 0.5 per cent in January. However, some economists have warned it could fall back into negative territory with energy prices expected to remain low throughout this year.
