Euro 2012 lifts Perform profit
DIGITAL sports rights company Perform Group reported an 84 per cent rise in first-half adjusted profit as the Euro 2012 football championship boosted advertising revenue and said the start to the second half of the year was positive.
Revenue from display and video advertising, which account for 22 per cent of revenue, grew 190 per cent and 174 per cent respectively for the half year to 30 June, helped by Euro 2012.
Revenue was up 49 per cent at £67.4m. Adjusted profit after tax rose to £8.6m for the six months ended 30 June, from £4.6m a year earlier.
