Denman is no match for stablemate Kauto
Sporting Index are once again tempting us with a whole host of match bets on this afternoon’s racing. Remember, they pick two horses in a race and predict the winning margin between the pair at the end of the race (a maximum of 15 lengths applies!).
The match that everyone is talking about is obviously Kauto Star and Denman and Sporting Index reckon that the former will beat the latter by around six lengths. That may look a lot at first glance, but I am keen to get with Kauto as I think conditions are hugely in his favour. If Denman is ridden too aggressively, he may end up on the floor again.
I’m also tempted to sell Cooldine over Tricky Trickster at one as I’m sure Paul Nicholls’ third string will pick up the pieces late on. There are plenty of other matches on the card, but the one that appeals most is a sell of Tell Massini over Restless Harry at 1 in the 2.40pm contest. I’m not sure the drying ground will help the former and the latter is rock solid.
