EDM Group
Provider of information and business process management technology and services to the UK insurance industry EDM Group has appointed Chris Hall as managing director, Insurance Services for EDM UK. Chris has over 30 years’ IT experience in senior leadership roles. Previous experience includes seven years spearheading Dell’s online presence in Europe; seven years at Research Machines (an EDM customer) as head of product marketing and technology sales; and a five-year stint at Mars Electronics in product marketing and software development. Chris’ appointment is part of the recent acquisition of the insurance division of Adactus, an Oxfordshire-based firm which Chris set up in 2001 and where he was chief executive. Adactus’ clients include Aviva, The Independent Group and RAC.
Brickendon
Brickendon Consulting has named Christopher Burke as its chief executive as the firm seeks to strengthen its board as it expands. Christopher, one of Brickendon’s founders and previously its managing director, recently announced plans to open an office in New York and said he is currently considering several potential acquisition targets with a view to expanding the group’s client base.
Kodak Alaris
Kodak Alaris has appointed Rick Costanzo president and general manager of the company’s information management division. Rick joined earlier this year to lead the global business from SAP, where he served as executive vice president for the telecommunications industry and enterprise mobility solutions. Prior to SAP, he was executive vice president of global sales and regional marketing for BlackBerry, where he was responsible for overseeing go-to-market strategy and financial performance of the global organisation. Rick was BlackBerry’s first employee in Europe, where he established and ran commercial operations for five years before undertaking similar responsibilities in Latin America, achieving triple-digit revenue and margin growth in both markets prior to taking on worldwide responsibilities.

Garrett Reil has joined City-based global brand consultancy Industry as creative director, following a three year stint at FutureBrand. In this newly created role, Garrett will have a remit to grow and develop the creative team, with creative oversight of all brand and digital work. He brings with him a wealth of experience in branding, having worked with global clients, including Microsoft, Bosch Worldwide and NatWest.
