Andrew Fleming has been appointed chief executive of the investment management firm. He was most recently chief executive of Cumulus Group and, prior to that, chief executive and chief investment officer of Aegon Asset Management. He began his career at Gartmore Investment Management, before joining ABN Amro.
EY
The professional services firm has appointed two new partners to its UK legal services practice. Paul Devitt and Richard Thomas both join from Addleshaw Goddard, and are both experienced M&A lawyers.
Bordier
The specialist asset management firm, part of the Swiss private banking group Bordier & Cie, has appointed Trevor Turner as client relationship manager on its newly-established international desk. He joined from HSBC, where he was a relationship manager in the international private bank. He started his career with Axa SunLife.
Secure Trust Bank
Challenger bank’s real estate finance division has just appointed Derek Bradstock as head of the South and Midlands. Bradstock brings more than 20 years experience, having previously held a variety of positions at high street banks RBS and NatWest. He was most recently the director of new business of Hotel & Leisure at NatWest.
Holman Fenwick
Jayson Marks joins the gas and oil group as a corporate partner. He joins from Pinset Masons, with particular experience in the upstream oil and gas sector.
Deloitte
Nick Owen has been elected chairman by the professional services firm. He is currently a member of the board of partners and vice chairman of Deloitte UK. Owen has nearly 30 years’ of experience, predominantly in the private sector working with, oil and gas, media, telecommunications and life science businesses..
