CIC Mining lists on Aim
CIC Mining Resources is to list on the Alternative Investment Market (Aim) this morning. The company, which advises and invests in energy and mining infrastructure, is currently working on a number of projects in South Africa, China and Australia, which it intends to bring to the public markets.
One of the companies CIC Mining Resources is currently advising is SL Minerals, which is looking to develop an iron ore project in western Africa.
CIC is advising on the development of that project and the intended flotation of the business. In return it has taken a 48 per cent interest in the company.
CIC chairman Stuart Bromley said an Aim listing provided the ideal platform for the company to develop its consulting and advisory business.
