Barnes & Noble names retailers
US BOOKSELLER Barnes & Noble yesterday said it has struck up partnerships with three more British retailers to sell its Nook ereader, after high street giant John Lewis emerged as the first UK retail partner earlier this week.
Foyles, Blackwells and Argos have signed up to sell the two devices – Nook Simple Touch and Nook Simple Touch with GlowLight – when they hit the shelves this autumn in time for the Christmas shopping season.
Argos will stock the Nook ereader in more than 700 stores and online while university bookstore Blackwells will help the US retailer tap into the student market.
