Bank gets lyrical to advertise £50 notes warning
The Bank of England really doesn't want you to forget to turn in your (soon to be outdated) £50 Houblon notes.
We're not sure how many people just keep these lying around, but the notes, depicting the Bank of England's first governor are on their way out this April.
Someone at Threadneedle Street has decided that taking to Twitter and channeling Paul Simon is the best way to get the news out.
Remember to exchange your #Houblon £50 notes before 30 April. Or as @PaulSimonMusic might say… pic.twitter.com/aMz4PW0YBF
