Analyst Views: What did you make of Bovis’s performance in the period?
MARK HUGHES | PANMURE GORDON
Bovis Homes’ trading statement was strong and the call with management was encouraging. Overall, an increase in the number of active sites, sales rates, volumes, pricing and margins have contributed to a significant uplift in earnings per share and net asset value for Bovis over the past 12 months
CLYDE LEWIS | PEEL HUNT
Bovis finished the year with strong trading as expected….Given strong forward order book and increase in active sales outlets we expect continued revenue growth in 2014. Overall we expect to see modest (two to four per cent changes) increases to our estimates for 2013/2014.
ANTHONY CODLING | JEFFERIES
Bovis has made a flying start to 2014, the strongest start that chief executive David Ritchie can remember. The 2013 result will be in-line with expectations but all eyes, in our view, will now focus on 2014. We expect profit before tax growth of 42 per cent this financial year.
