Flybe secures turboprop deal
BUDGET carrier Flybe expanded its Scandinavian operation by leasing four new turboprops with expected the first delivery this year.
The new aircraft will be operated by Flybe on behalf of Scandinavian airline SAS after the two companies entered into an agreement last year lasting six years, it said yesterday.
The four new ATR72-600 will continue to be registered in the UK and there is scope for another four.
Flybe is the largest airline at Manchester by passenger volumes.
