TED BAKER PROVIDES RETAIL THERAPY AS SALES SURGE
DESIGNER gear maker Ted Baker defied the retail sector gloom yesterday to post a 15.2 per cent revenue rise in the past five months. Sales were up 9.4 per cent compared with the same period in 2010 while wholesale sales jumped 42.1 per cent as demand in the US rose. New stores in the Middle East and Asia were popular and the company plans new shops in New Zealand, China, the US and more in the UK later this year.
