Freud enjoys record year
FREUD Communications boosted profits for 2011 by 28 per cent to £7.9m, the PR agency’s Companies House filing revealed yesterday.
Founder Matthew Freud took complete control of the firm in April last year and set about investing in the business, growing revenues eight per cent to £37.6m.
Key contracts included the main London 2012 account, as well as ongoing relationships with Vodafone and Mars.
Freud, who is married to Elisabeth Murdoch and is a friend of David Cameron, did not take a dividend last year.
