Parcel group to develop Amazon deal

DISTRIBUTION specialist Connect Group is expanding its Pass my Parcel deal with online retailer Amazon after a successful six month pilot scheme.

The firm said the offer will be rolled out to 3,000 stores over the next nine months, up from 700. This is an increase on the previous target of 2,000 stores.

Connect boss Mark Cashmore told City A.M. yesterday that the firm is currently in talks with a number of other prospective clients for the click and collect service, but said it was too early to name them.
