The business litigation firm has announced the appointment of Nick Marsh as a partner in its London office. A commercial litigator and international arbitration specialist, he joins from DLA Piper, where he was a member of its dispute resolution group.
Jeremy Beckwith has been appointed director of manager research in the UK at the investment research firm. He was recently interim chief investment officer at Nutmeg, and was a founding partner at London Wall Partners. Beckwith has also held senior roles at Merrill Lynch and Kleinwort Benson Private Bank.
Rebecca Hopkirk has been appointed partner in the law firm’s international insurance practice. She joins from Holman Fenwick Willan, where she has spent her whole career. Hopkirk has over 20 years’ experience in international property and casualty.
The health, retirement, talent and investment firm has appointed Norbert Fullerton as partner in its financial strategy group. He joins from Russell Investments, where he was director, pension solutions. Fullerton previously worked as a senior investment consultant at Towers Watson.
Andrew France has been appointed strategic adviser intelligence at the crime fighting software firm. Based in its London office, he was previously deputy director of cyber defence operations at GCHQ.
Smith & Williamson Investment Management
The investment management firm has appointed Giles Worthington to manage the Smith & Williamson European Growth trust. He joins from RiverCrest Capital, where he managed the RiverCrest European Equity Alpha for the past three years. Worthington has also held roles at M&G.
Pictet Asset Management
The asset management firm has announced that Percival Stanion, Andrew Cole and Shaniel Ramjee have joined. Led by Stanion, they arrive from Barings Asset Management, where they worked on multi asset strategies. Stanion will become head of multi asset strategies (excluding Switzerland) at Pictet Asset Management.
