LE MISANTHROPE IN THE CITY
The buzz in theatreland may be all about Keira Knightley’s forthcoming appearance in a production of Moliere’s French farce, Le Misanthrope, but the Bridewell theatre in the City is ahead of the game. This staging is by the Tower Theatre Company, which includes City workers in its cast, updating the action to contemporary London, and tomorrow is your last chance to catch it. PIERRE KOFFMAN AT SELFRIDGES
Such has been the success of chef Pierre Koffman’s pop-up restaurant at Selfridges at his stay has been extended until 27 November. Koffman, who ran the landmark restaurant La Tante Claire and was famous for bringing pigs trotters into the world of fine dining – will even be cooking for Christmas parties willing to pay £25,000 to hire the restaurant out for an early celebration.
