Fulham pay for Euro tie
FULHAM boss Martin Jol admits a Europa League campaign is hampering his team’s competitiveness in the Premier League after losing 2-0 at Wolves.
Kevin Doyle and Matt Jarvis scored as Jol’s men succumbed less than 72 hours after beating Dnipro on Thursday night.
He said: “We can do well in Europe, but it is probably almost impossible to do well and get to the final as Fulham did two years ago.”
Elsewhere Kenwyne Jones headed home in stoppage time to earn Stoke a 1-1 draw at 10-man Norwich.
