CITY VIEWS: WHAT WILL ONE NEW CHANGE MEAN FOR THE CITY?
MARK WEBSTER | BT
“It means I won’t have to spend my weekends shopping, as I can do it all in my lunch break. It’s interesting to see such a large project in these economic times, but from the crowds today it seems like it will be used.”
JANDRE ELS | REDSTONE
“It’s quite a nice building. I work nearby and I will probably be shopping here quite often. I think more City workers rather than tourists will come here, as it’s not quite on the tourist trail. It’s a bit far from the West End.”
ABHIJEET KELKAR | TECH MAHINDRA
“It’s good for central London generally. Hopefully it can drag in the customers in the run-up to Christmas. However, I think they will have to advertise more to get shoppers from further afield to travel here.”
