The debt solutions provider has announced the appointment of Nicola Beamish as finance director. She has over 20 years’ experience working in finance. Beamish was most recently at LBM Direct Marketing, where she was a finance director.
Field Fisher Waterhouse
The law firm has hired Geoff Mendelsohn as an IT disputes partner. He was previously at Edwards Wildman, where he was a partner. Prior to that, he was head of IT disputes at Nabarro.
JLT Employee Benefits
The employee benefits company has recruited Martyn Bogira as a director. He will be responsible for its defined contribution contract-based customers. Bogira joins from Prudential, where he was head of corporate pensions.
Exotix
Andrew Chappell has been appointed global head of loans and claims at the emerging and frontier markets investment banking boutique. He has over 15 years’ experience working in emerging market fixed income, and has been with Exotix since 1999.
Brooks Macdonald
The investment management firm has recruited Jeremy Stubbs as senior investment adviser in its Guernsey office. He has over 13 years’ experience in financial services. Stubbs was most recently at Canaccord, where he was a stockbroker. Before that, he held roles at Cenkos and Brewin Dolphin.
Sberbank
The bank has made two appointments. Sergio Soler joins as a senior trader in its global markets division. He was most recently at Julius Bar, and has previously held roles at UBS. Franck-Eric Fischer joins as a senior oil trader. He has over 20 years’ experience in crude oil and petroleum products. Fischer previously held roles at Gunvor, Dresdner Kleinwort, NM Rothschild and Societe Generale.
Hudson Legal
Fiona Smyth has joined the law firm as a consultant in its private practice team in London. Smyth trained at Ivor Fitzpatrick in Dublin, before joining Rosling King. She was most recently at Haynes Orme, where she was a litigation solicitor.
